Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Party Event Hire, a party and event hire company operating within the Republic of Ireland. We specialize in the hire of 360 booths, selfie mirrors, selfie pods, audio guest telephones, crisp walls, Ferrero Rocher stands, light-up LOVE letters, and light-up initials. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Provision
Party Event Hire provides event equipment hire services, which may include delivery, set-up, operation, and dismantling of the hired equipment for the agreed duration of the event. We will use reasonable efforts to ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in proper working order.
3. Customer Responsibility
While Party Event Hire ensures that all equipment is provided in good working condition, we accept no responsibility for how customers or event guests interact with the equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, misuse, abuse, negligence, intoxication, or failure to follow instructions provided by our staff.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Party Event Hire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, our equipment. Our total liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the hire service.
5. Rental Duration & Collection
The rental period shall be agreed at the time of booking. Equipment must be available for collection or return at the agreed time and in the same condition as supplied, fair wear and tear excepted. Late returns or delays caused by the customer or venue may result in additional charges.
6. Payment, Deposit & Cancellation
Full payment (or agreed deposit) is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
A non-refundable deposit will be required.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event, unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event date are non-refundable.
Cancellations outside this period may be eligible for a partial refund at the discretion of Party Event Hire.
7. Customer Obligations
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the venue is suitable for the equipment, including:
Adequate space
Suitable and safe power supply
Dry, level ground where required
Safe and unobstructed access for delivery and setup
Party Event Hire reserves the right to refuse setup or discontinue service if the venue is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or if conditions pose a risk to equipment, staff, or guests.
8. Damage, Loss & Charges
The customer accepts full responsibility for any loss of or damage to the equipment caused by themselves, their guests, or third parties during the hire period. Any repair or replacement costs will be charged to the customer. An inventory and condition check will be carried out following the event.
9. Indemnity
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Party Event Hire, its employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the equipment, including personal injury or property damage, except where caused by proven negligence on the part of Party Event Hire.
10. Force Majeure
Party Event Hire shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, power failure, fire, flooding, illness, accidents, government restrictions, or acts of God. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the booking where possible.
11. Photographs & Media
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Party Event Hire may use photographs or videos taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
